Responding to continuing constraints on research travel during the pandemic, the ASLH announces a competition for 10 small grants to support legal history research in digital and print sources this summer. Application is open to ASLH members who are graduate students at any stage or recent Ph.D. or J.D graduates (2019 or later). Each successful applicant will receive $1,000, to be used to obtain digital or print materials and/or to cover other research expenses, including food and housing expenses, incurred while conducting summer research using digital or print sources.

To apply, please download and complete the application form and then email a copy of the application form, together with your CV, to smallgrants@aslh.net by April 30, 2021. We anticipate providing results by May 20.
